Day two of the BKM conference was about business development. Guy Mycroft from Mycroft Management and Consulting facilitated this day and did a fabulous job. 2023 DFKBKM Conference – Day 1

Day 1 of the DFK Benjamin King Money group conference commenced last Thursday the 23rd of March, with great divisional presentations from SMSF, Wealth, Audit & VCFO, as well as workshopping the very positive results of our recent team survey. We found that 100% of staff were happy with our work from home arrangements, and that someone at work cares about them as a person. Our staff believe that BKM will continue to grow and thrive as we move into 2024.

ATO announces changes to working from home deductions

From 1 July 2022 the ATO has revised the working from home deduction fixed rate to 67 cents per hour from the previous 52 cents and 80 cents per fixed rate methods. This fixed rate covers the following expenses that can’t be claimed separately.
